LIVE ELECTION RESULTS | New York polls are closed as the fate of the presidency remains uncertain

It's all over except counting.

Polls are closed in New York for the crucial election for the next President of the United States in 2024 and numerous key races for the Senate, House of Representatives, State Senate and Assembly, as well as six ballot questions.

The presidential contest between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump has been top of mind in every election across the country. While the final result is still unknown, AP has already called New York and its 28 electoral votes for Harris.

Meanwhile, voters also made their voices heard in the race for the U.S. Senate, where incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand is expected to win another term against Republican Mike Sapraicone. In this year's election, all House, state Senate and Assembly seats are at stake, as are six crucial voting questions

Unofficial results for many of these races are provided below via the New York City and New York State Boards of Elections.
