According to the PA foreign minister, at least 100,000 ballots are outstanding

There are still “at least” 100,000 votes outstanding in Pennsylvania amid a tight Senate race between incumbent Sen. Bob Casey and his Republican challenger David McCormick, Secretary of State Al Schmidt said Thursday night.

According to Schmidt, this count includes “provisional, military, foreign and Election Day votes.”

“We urge patience as poll workers continue to do this important work, especially during campaigns where margins are very tight,” he said.

Trump announces chief of staff

Donald Trump announced that he has named his campaign manager Susie Wiles as his White House chief of staff, the president-elect said in a statement Thursday.

President-elect Trump has announced his chief of staff.

“Susie Wiles just helped me win one of the greatest political victories in American history and was an integral part of my successful 2016 and 2020 campaigns,” Trump said.

McCarthy said he would decline to become Trump's chief of staff if offered

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said in an interview earlier this week on Guy Benson's Fox News radio show that he would decline if offered to become Trump's chief of staff.

McCarthy said he “wouldn't say yes” to the role, but suggested that Susie Wiles, Trump's campaign manager, would be a “great fit” for the role.
