Wisconsin has 10 electoral votes.

It is one of the battleground states in the 2024 election that will help determine the presidential winner. Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election by 20,000 votes.

Presidential candidates need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.

President Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump 306 to 232 in the 2020 election. Trump defeated Hillary Clinton 304 to 227 in 2016.

Milwaukee will recast about 31,000 mail-in ballots after a “sealing error” was discovered in counting machines at the central counting site downtown on Election Day, potentially delaying the final count by one to three hours, city spokesman Jeff Fleming said Tuesday.

“It’s just a big precaution. We have no reason to believe that there have been any compromises with any of the machines,” Fleming said. “But because they weren't fully sealed – human error – and weren't fully sealed, we're going to reset them all back to zero… and then re-run the audit that's already been processed.”
