There was no Taylor Swift conversation on the ManningCast during the first half of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints on Monday night, but things got a little awkward when she appeared on screen.

Bill Belichick accompanied Peyton and Eli Manning for most of the first half as they saw the Chiefs take a 16-7 lead after the first two quarters of the game. Towards the end of the second quarter, the ESPN broadcast showed Swift on the screen.

Grilling.

The “ManningCast” simulcast showed the Manning brothers smiling as Belichick discussed Kelce's first half. There was a long silence before the broadcast went back to the game.

The awkward moment caught social media attention.

The Mannings did not speak to Belichick about his apparent Swift fan base. In recent Instagram photos, Belichick was seen with his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, who was wearing a Swift shirt.

Last year, Belichick praised Kelce for taking his photo with Swift and having a blossoming relationship. The Kelce-Swift romance had a stranglehold on the NFL, extending to Las Vegas and Super Bowl LVIII.

Belichick also praised Swift last summer for performing one of her “Eras Tour” shows in the rain at Gillette Stadium.
