Michael Moore makes a bold election prediction

Michael Moore made a last-minute prediction that Kamala Harris will win the 2024 presidential election as he called Donald Trump's White House prospects “toast.”

“I don’t think they realized the gift that the Trump campaign keeps giving us. I don't think they're really in touch with the situation of the majority of Americans,” he told MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin on Sunday. “The majority of Americans don’t want this division, they don’t want the threat of violence. It’s okay if we disagree, but that’s where it ends.”

MAGA's lack of distance from Americans, the filmmaker said, is evident in the former president's rhetoric about immigrants and in his expression of violent threats against political opponents and the media.

“They actually think we don’t like immigrants,” he claimed.

Moore, who correctly predicted a Trump victory in 2016, doubled down on his assertion from early October that the former president's redemption would not come to fruition. A Trump defeat, he said, would leave the Republican presidential candidate's supporters “very surprised.”

“Not only do I feel the same as I did a few weeks ago, I also feel like Trump is completely over the top. I feel it more now,” he continued. “I don’t want to say it too loudly because our work is not done yet. We all need to make sure we get people to vote.”

The filmmaker's confidence in a Harris victory follows shocking poll numbers from Iowa that predicted the vice president will win the deep red state by three points.

And as Election Day approaches, Harris campaign officials say they are encouraged by the early voting numbers, but one official acknowledged: “Obviously and ultimately, this is a very close race.”
