Mike Tyson wants to “die in the ring” if fight with Jake Paul goes wrong

Mike Tyson is thinking about his final wishes and they could come true sooner than expected.

Tyson, 58, is scheduled to face boxing YouTuber Jake Paul in a fight on November 15 that will be broadcast on Netflix and said he would rather die in the ring than in a hospital bed.

“This is really important for me. If I win, I will be immortal,” Tyson said, according to a clip released from the upcoming Netflix documentary about the fight. “If I do bad, I don’t want to die in a hospital bed, I want to die in the ring.”

Tyson had already had medical problems leading up to the fight, including an ulcer flare-up before the flight that delayed the fight from July to November.

His medical issues made for a hectic few days as medical professionals rushed onto the plane to treat the legendary boxer.

When the fight was postponed, Paul decided to box MMA fighter Mike Perry, whom he defeated by TKO in round six.

Tyson has already hinted at the death ahead of this fight, saying that Paul's “new wake-up date” is November 15th.

“Iron Mike” also posted a picture of himself with the caption “murderous” as the fight is just 16 days away.

Although he trained hard for this fight, Tyson hasn't been hit in the face with full force in a professional boxing match since 2005, when he was on the chair against Kevin McBride.
