Morgan Wallen's new single reaches number 1 in America – on half a dozen charts

Morgan Wallen is back at number 1 – on more than one chart. The superstar's new single “Love Somebody” debuts at the top multiple times in the U.S., underscoring the fact that he's the rare country artist who has the power to instantly top almost any ranking he likes when he is ready with new music.

Most importantly, “Love Somebody” opens at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The song marks Wallen's third leader billboards Most competitive songs charts that combine sales, streams and radio airplay to highlight the country's most popular and consumed tracks.

“Love Somebody” is also an instant winner on two other non-genre lists in the US. Wallen takes his latest song to No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart, where he collects his third ruler.

The same track also dominates the Digital Song Sales charts, which list the best-selling songs in the country. Luminate reports that “Love Somebody” tops the chart with 17,000 sales, giving Wallen his seventh No. 1.

Unsurprisingly, “Love Somebody” also tops almost every country chart in America. The single earns him another immediate and expected No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, usually considered the biggest chart in the style. He has reached the top nine times in this record.

“Love Somebody” also quickly rocks its way to No. 1 on the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts. Wallen has a dozen top picks in the previous list and another in the ranking of the most purchased country cuts.

Wallen's new single also reaches out to several others billboard charts, although it doesn't quite reach the top of any of them – at least not yet. “Love Somebody” is a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Global 200, showing what the world is listening to – although it's clear that its fame doesn't extend far beyond this country's borders. The same track begins at number 134 on the Billboard Global Excl. USA, which removes all sales and streaming data from America.
