NBA News: Thunder's Caruso makes a point about the comparisons between Holmgren and Anthony Davis

The Oklahoma City Thunder got off to a hot start with two impressive wins to open the NBA regular season, thanks in part Chet Holmgrens Breakout performances. Holmgren's play has drawn comparisons to the NBA star Anthony DavisAnd Alex Caruso wasn't afraid to share his thoughts on the subject.

The comparisons started with Davis after Holmgren's strong performance against Chicago, where he grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds. After the game, Caruso was asked if he saw any similarities to his former Lakers teammate.

The AD comparison is a tough one, if only because AD is so far along in his current career, and Chet obviously still has a long way to go to keep up, but I think he's in control of his own destiny the hand.“explained Caruso.

“Whatever he wants to achieve in this league, he has it in front of him” Caruso continued. “ He has the work ethic, he has the competitiveness. If you have those two things where you have the ability to get better, you have the desire to get better, and you have the work ethic to get better, If you have those things, you can control your own destiny in the NBA.”
