Newsmax added to YouTube TV lineup

Newsmax has announced that it has been added to streaming provider YouTube TV's channel lineup.

The conservative cable channel joins the basic package offered to subscribers of Google's own platform.

While the network has already been offered to subscribers of cable providers such as Directv, Xfinity, Dish, Spectrum, Cox and Optimum, with the addition of YouTube TV, Newsmax will now be available in more than 60 million American homes.

YouTube TV is the fourth largest television provider in the country, offering content from more than 100 network, cable and regional sports channels.

With distribution on YouTube TV, Newsmax is now available to users who want to watch the network on smartphones, tablets and computers in addition to televisions and streaming devices.

The addition of YouTube TV comes as Newsmax is relaunching its primetime offering. The station moved morning show co-host Rob Finnerty to 8:00 p.m. ET Rob Schmitt tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET and Greg Kelly reports at 9:00 p.m. ET. It also offers features Chris Plante The right team at 10:00 p.m. ET.
