Tom Brady was back in action in Week 9, covering the Detroit Lions' 24-14 victory over the Green Bay Packers alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt for Fox.

The Lions and Packers struggled with sloppy offensive performances in rainy conditions, as both teams were below their overall scoring average early in the contest. Still, Detroit was able to maintain a 14-point halftime lead and move ahead of the NFC North.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love was listed as questionable early in the game with a groin injury and struggled with inconsistency throughout the contest.

Love threw an interception near the end of the first half that was returned for a touchdown, leading to Brady discussing the possibility of getting too aggressive before halftime.

With Green Bay needing to gain a yard on second down in the fourth quarter, Love threw two incomplete passes before a fourth-down run by Josh Jacobs failed to move the sticks. Brady didn't agree with the Packers' actions.

Fans weighed in on the seven-time Super Bowl champion's comment on social media.

I love these explanations @TomBrady about what quarterbacks need to do – you can see that Green Bay went crazy on all three downs and Jordan Love didn't make it easy. Tom Brady said it perfectly.#Foxsports #NFL

The loss dropped Love and the Packers to 6-3.
