NFL results, live updates: The Cowboys want to stay in the NFC playoffs with the Falcons, the Ravens host the Broncos

The Dallas Cowboys had an inconsistent start to the season, losing several times at home but thriving on the road at AT&T Stadium until a 30-24 loss in San Francisco last week. With Dallas now trailing several teams in the NFC wild card chase, it has a chance to make up some ground against an Atlanta Falcons team that is in the thick of Kirk Cousins' first year at the helm. Atlanta has won four of its last five games – including a win over Tampa Bay during that span – and is seeking its first playoff berth since 2017.

After a surprising loss at the Cleveland Browns, the Baltimore Ravens enter Week 9 at 5-3, hosting a Denver Broncos team that has made some progress in its second year under Sean Payton and with rookie quarterback Bo Nix at the helm. He was just named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month in October after throwing for 870 yards and seven touchdowns and completing 66.7% of his passes while leading the Broncos to a 3-1 record this month.

(Bye: Steelers, 49ers)
