Nitish Kumar Reddy looked great, hitting seven sixes and four boundaries and scoring 74 runs off 34 balls.

Nitish Kumar Reddy emphatically announced his arrival on the international stage with a brilliant half-century in only his second T20I. The 21-year-old came on as India found themselves in a tough spot with three early wickets in the powerplay. Reddy showed great signs and fought patiently at the start of the innings to let the difficult period pass and broke free when he got the opportunity to face a free-kick as he didn't stop after that and smashed the Bangladesh bowlers all over the park . The right-handed batsman shared a 108-run stand with Rinku Singh for the fourth wicket, which took India to the top spot.

He demonstrated his ability to overcome the limits of willpower and hit his maiden half-century off 27 balls. He looked great, hitting seven sixes and four boundaries and scoring 74 runs in 34 balls.

It was a very high quality knock. Not only did he rely on his strength, but he also looked for gaps, which he did effortlessly. The Bangladesh spinners looked clueless against him at times.
