The Los Angeles Dodgers lead the best-of-seven National Championship Series 3-1 and can clinch a spot in the 2024 World Series with a win on Friday against the New York Mets.

Los Angeles won 10-2 in Game 4 at Citi Field on Thursday and has outscored the Mets 30-9 in the series, securing the three wins by margins of nine, eight and eight runs – including shutouts in Games 1 and 2 3.

Mookie Betts went 4 for 6 with a home run and four RBIs in the Dodgers' Game 4, and likely NL MVP Shohei Ohtani hit a home run for the second straight game after going without a long ball in the previous six games.

David Peterson (10-3, 2.90 ERA) starts for the Mets and wants to extend the season in New York. The left-hander is making his first start of the postseason but was crucial out of the bullpen, picking up one win and one save with a 2.08 ERA in four appearances. Right-hander Jack Flaherty secures the win for the Dodgers in the potential deciding game after delivering a masterful performance in Game 1.
