Former US President Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai has penned a heartwarming congratulatory message for him as the Republican leader is on the verge of a emphatic victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.

Donald Trump won in more than half of the 50 US states, including the three key battlegrounds of Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, two of which were Democratic in the last election. He also leads the remaining four swing states – Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin. He now has 266 electoral votes, just shy of the magic number needed to win the presidency, compared to Harris' 205.

Donald Trump promised to end the wars and make America the greatest as he addressed his supporters. “I will use every energy, soul and fire to make America the greatest, and I will stop wars,” he said during the victory speech in Florida.
