PORTLAND, Ore. — Brandon Ingram hit a jumper with 4.9 seconds left and the New Orleans Pelicans came back from behind to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 105-103 on Friday night.

New Orleans trailed until CJ McCollum made a 3-pointer and a floater to make it 91-1 with 8:20 left. Jordan Hawkins gave New Orleans the lead with free throws. The Pelicans extended the lead to 97-91 on Daniel Theis' layup.

Anfernee Simons' jumper put Portland back in the lead with 2:24 left. By the time Ingram scored the winning goal, they were down to fourth place heading into the home stretch.

Hawkins led the Pelicans with 24 points.

Zion Williamson was in the Pelicans' starting lineup after missing the team's opener against Chicago due to illness. He finished the race with 16 points.

Portland jumped out to a 27-15 lead in the first quarter, maintained a double-digit lead for most of the half and led 47-37 at halftime.
