The “So What” hitmaker recently opened up about her ongoing recovery from hip replacement surgery and opened up about the challenges she faced during the process.

Pink candidly described the grueling first week in which she struggled with severe pain, medication side effects and unrelenting fever. “It was a brutal first week full of tears and painkillers, depression, medication ulcers and constant fever,” Pink wrote via Instagram at the time.

Despite the difficult recovery, the singer expressed her heartfelt gratitude for her husband Carey Hart, whose unwavering support helped her navigate this difficult chapter. “(My husband) brought me coffee in the shower, lugged my 100-pound CPM devices everywhere, dried my tears, made me oatmeal, kept track of my medications, got me my phone charger, plugged in my compression devices, and “My temp made the bed and talked me off the ledge,” she added.

In addition to updates on her physical recovery, Pink also opened up about her mental health struggles.

“Writing songs is probably what saved my life,” she said in 2022. “Writing a journal, writing poetry, reading other people's stories, getting inspiration. To do sports. Eat healthy. Cooking is like meditation.”

“So now I know that when I get lost, I reach under my bed and pull out my spiritual toolbox,” she continued. “I light my incense, take a bath, breathe and do my gratitude. I have also surrounded myself with a village full of people who know to remind me when I have forgotten that I have a spiritual toolbox. And that's why I encourage all of you to write, journal, talk to someone, and start building your own spiritual toolbox and getting people around you to remind you that you have it under the bed.”
