Here he meets his old team, the Sixers. It will be interesting to see if he can motivate himself even more and try to prove them wrong for getting rid of him. The Pistons haven't had much luck in matchups against Philadelphia recently, losing 8 straight and are just 1-7 against the spread in those games.

Joel Embiid and Paul George have been cut from the 76ers once again, meaning we're still waiting for their debut together in a Sixers jersey. After an OT win at Indiana over the weekend, they're looking to win their first home game of the season here. Tyrese Maxey flourished with 45 points and scored 10 of Philly's 13 points in overtime. With those two no longer on the roster, Maxey will once again be expected to carry the load offensively and I think he will respond to that. The 76ers are 4-point favorites and have won 5 straight home games against the Pistons.

Philadelphia can't afford to lose games to teams like the Pistons if they plan on being a top-four team in the East.
