Our Wisconsin football coverage team predicts the outcome of Saturday's Badgers-Rutgers game at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Mark Stewart

UW has a chance to get a good win on the road and they have the tools to make it happen. The offensive line is playing well, the running game is having its best performance of the season and the defense has shown it can contain the Scarlet Knights' ground game. This is a great opportunity that the Badgers will not pass up. Wisconsin 24, Rutgers 20.

JR Radcliffe

Rutgers' talented running back Kyle Monangai, who enters the week second in the Big Ten in rushing, wasn't a factor when the two teams played last year, but I find it hard to imagine the UW defense blitzing twice hits. Wisconsin did absolutely everything they could against Purdue last week to demonstrate progress and shake off the “it's just Purdue” caveat, and yet I'm still stuck there. I'm still not on the road against a decent opponent in a sneaky, crucial game for the team's hopes of a record above .500 quite a believer. Rutgers 28, Wisconsin 20.
