Bayern Munich

With 20 points from eight games, Bayern are at the top of the Bundesliga table and level on points with second-placed RB Leipzig. Bayern started their league season with three consecutive wins before playing to two draws against Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Since then, Vincent Kompany's team has returned to winning ways and secured two comfortable league victories. They defeated Stuttgart by a 4-0 scoreline before recording a 5-0 win over Bochum, which proved to be the perfect response to their Champions League loss to Barcelona. Bayern put in another dominant performance in the middle of the week: Jamal Musiala scored a hat trick together with Leroy Sane to secure a 4-0 win against Mainz in the DFB Cup.

After a relaxed move into the round of 16, Bayern are now turning their focus back to Bundesliga action. They will certainly fancy their chances of getting all three points having won five of their last six games against Union, including each of the last three.
