Sabrina Carpenter wants haters to please, please, not attend her Short n' Sweet tour.

The “Taste” singer hit back at those who criticized the lingerie-inspired outfits she performs in on stage while speaking to Time magazine for a cover story published Wednesday.

“All I say to that is don’t come to the show, and that’s fine,” the former Disney Channel star, 25, said.

Carpenter called the backlash from “sometimes a mother who has strong opinions about how you should dress” an “unfortunate” scenario.

She explained: “Honestly, it's the scariest thing in the world to go on stage in front of so many people and act like it's nothing.”

“If the only thing that helps you is the way you feel comfortable when you dress, then that's what you need to do,” she continued.

Elsewhere in the interview, the songwriter noted that she would have been “a lot more nervous and intimidated” if she had experienced her current level of fame when she was younger.

Now Carpenter feels “so well prepared for these moments.”

With the help of her stylist Jared Ellner, Carpenter showcased a series of custom Victoria's Secret looks on stage, each embellished with over 150,000 hand-placed crystals.

According to the brand, the ensembles each took more than 140 hours to complete.

For her Time cover, Carpenter also wore a vintage Victoria's Secret corset, briefs and train – an outfit that Naomi Campbell first modeled on the runway in 1997.

The Broadway star described femininity as something she has “always embraced” in her style choices.

“If that means corsets and garter belts and fluffy gowns or whatever the fuck right now, then that's what that means,” she said.

Carpenter's international tour is scheduled to end in March 2025.
