Saints' Taysom Hill scores two touchdowns in the first half against the Falcons

ATLANTA โ€“ New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill was quick to show how much the Saints missed him last week.

Hill, who missed last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a pectoral injury, showed no lingering signs of it against the Atlanta Falcons. With 13:46 left in the second quarter, Hill ran in for the second of his two first-half touchdowns, scoring on a 5-yard run that gave the Saints a 14-7 lead.

Hill also scored on a direct snap for a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter. That score tied the game at 7-7 after the Falcons scored an early touchdown following a deflected punt by Rashid Shaheed.

Hill set up his second touchdown with a 7-yard gain on 4th-and-1 early in the drive, lining up at fullback in front of running back Alvin Kamara and receiving the handoff to run through an open lane.

He also had a crucial block on a 13-yard gain by Kamara in the first quarter.
