Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts both had strong performances as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated former Super Bowl champion Doug Pederson and the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-23 at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday to win their fourth straight game.

Nakobe Dean intercepted Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence at the end of the game to seal the victory.

Hurts had three total touchdowns in the game, including a 25-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith in which the Heisman Trophy winner returned the pass with one hand.

Barkley threw one of Hurts' two touchdown passes and had a 19-yard rushing score late in the second quarter. Barkley finished the game with 159 rushing yards and caught three passes for 40 yards.

Wide receiver AJ Brown left the game with a knee injury.

With the win, the Birds improved to 6-2 and will face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday at Linc.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
