Sean “Diddy” Combs is again accused of sexual assault

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in another lawsuit filed in New York.

The twelfth and final accuser alleges that after she became pregnant, one of his associates pressured her into having an abortion and later suffered a miscarriage.

Mr. Combs was arrested last week and is currently in federal custody. He is charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.

He continues to deny all allegations of criminal wrongdoing. The BBC has contacted Mr Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, for comment on the latest civil lawsuit.

In the latest lawsuit filed against him in New York, a woman named Jane Doe describes repeated physical and sexual abuse over a four-year period beginning in late 2020.

She says she first met the rapper, who paid for her trip, at an “overseas location” and the two saw each other “regularly” after that, the lawsuit says.

In her legal complaint, the woman alleges she was drugged by Mr. Combs, who then performed sexual acts on her without her consent while she was unconscious.

The sexual encounters were filmed by Mr. Combs without the woman's permission and she was pressured by him to engage in group sex with others, the legal document says.

In one case that allegedly took place in July 2022, the lawsuit describes that the woman was forced to take the drug ketamine, which caused her to “lost consciousness” and “lost consciousness intermittently throughout the night.” “.

Shortly afterwards, it is said, the woman found out that she was pregnant. When the woman informed Mr. Combs of the pregnancy, one of Mr. Combs' employees urged her to have an abortion, according to the lawsuit. The woman later suffered a miscarriage, it is said.

The woman further claims that Mr. Combs made threatening jokes that made her fear for her safety, says he monitored her location and phone calls and said he stopped her from working so he could pay her an allowance instead.

“No one is above the law. “Fame and wealth do not protect Sean 'Diddy' Combs from serious allegations of sex trafficking and abuse,” the woman's lawyers, Joseph L. Ciaccio and Marie Napoli, said in a statement to the BBC.

Mr Combs has faced a series of allegations over the past year after his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit alleging physical and sexual abuse last November. Ms. Ventura's lawsuit was settled by Mr. Combs for an undisclosed amount.

The rapper is also being prosecuted because federal prosecutors have accused him of “founding a criminal enterprise” in which he “abused, threatened and forced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires to protect his reputation.” and to hide his behavior”. .

The rapper pleaded not guilty to the three crimes charged against him.

The BBC has contacted Mr Combs' lawyer for comment on the allegations in this latest lawsuit.

Mr. Combs has denied all allegations contained in the 11 previous lawsuits.
