Six sweet weeks! Sabrina Carpenter is number 1 in the UK

Sabrina Carpenter has continued her unstoppable reign on the Official UK Singles Chart with her hit 'Taste', which remains at number 1 for the sixth year in a row.

Over the last seven days, the track has amassed 6.2 million streams, putting it well ahead of Chappell Roan's “Good Luck Babe” at No. 2. Despite its relentless pursuit of the top spot, “Good Luck Babe” still hasn't made it to Sabrina's to surpass an impressive run.

The Weeknd and Playboi Carti also made a name for themselves with their collaboration “Timeless” from The Weeknd's upcoming sixth album Hurry, tomorrowdebuted at number 7 on the charts. This is The Weeknd's 17th top 10 hit in the UK, while it is Playboi Carti's second.

Meanwhile, “Wildflower” by Billie Eilish is steadily climbing up the charts and has now entered the top 20 for the first time, landing just shy of number 20.

Billie is no stranger to chart-topping success, having previously reached No. 2 with her 2019 hit “Bad Guy.” As “Wildflower” continues to gain traction, it could mean Billie is heading toward another chart milestone.

In another impressive jump, Linkin Park's “Heavy Is The Crown” shot up 48 places to number 18 this week, marking the band's 20th UK Top 40 single. It's clear that even after years in the game and a new singer, their fan base remains as dedicated as ever, proving their staying power in an ever-evolving musical landscape.

Addison Rae also continues to rise, with her song “Diet Pepsi” moving up 15 places to number 22. This is her first entry into the UK Top 40 and a huge success for the rising pop star.

The list of newcomers is rounded off by the London MC Nines, who enters the top 40 at number 39 after the release of his last album with “Going Crazy”. His latest effort has attracted enough attention to secure his seventh single in the UK Top 40.

Additionally, Noah Kahan's 'Stick Season', which was named the biggest song of the year so far in the UK, has returned to the Top 40, peaking at number 40, showing the track's ability to re-enter the charts after a blip its ability to sustain popularity and appeal among diverse audiences.
