'SNL' Roasts Kamala's Glock and Joker as 'Gay Guy Obsessed With Lady Gaga' in 'Family Feud' Cold Open

“Saturday Night Live” pitted the Democrats and Republicans in a hilarious game of “Family Feud,” hosted by Kenan Thompson’s Steve Harvey.

Maya Rudolph's Kamala Harris, Jim Gaffigan's Tim Walz, Andy Samberg's Doug Emhoff and Dana Carvey's Joe Biden competed in the cold open against James Austin Johnson's Donald Trump, Mikey Day's Donald Trump Jr. and Bowen Yang's JD Vance.

Thompson asked participants to name something they keep in their glove compartment, to which Rudolph responded with “a Glock” – making fun of Harris' recent viral interview moment.

“Steve, look, I grew up in a middle-class family. My mother raised my sister and me. She worked hard and saved, and we also had a second mother. “A small business owner named Ms. Shelton,” said Rudolphs Harris. When asked again for an answer, she quipped, “Oh, a Glock, Steve. A big old Glock.”

Another hilarious moment came when Bowen introduced himself as Vance as he blamed liberals for the failure of Joker 2 and called Joaquin Phoenix's character a “gay guy obsessed with Lady Gaga.”

“Steve, can I just say it’s so refreshing to be on a show that celebrates families? Unlike the Democrats who turned the hero Joker into a gay man obsessed with Lady Gaga,” Yang said.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of “Saturday Night Live,” which premiered almost exactly half a century ago on October 11, 1975. The new film “Saturday Night” also commemorates the anniversary, about the very first broadcast of the most popular NBC series. The 50th season premiered on September 28th with host and current Emmy winner Jean Smart and musical guest Jelly Roll, followed by comedian Nate Bargatze and Coldplay the following week. Upcoming hosts and musicians include Michael Keaton with Billie Eilish and John Mulaney with Chappell Roan.
