Stars react to Kris Kristofferson's death at age 88

Celebrities pay tribute to him Kris Kristofferson after the country star died at the age of 88.

On Sunday, September 29, it was announced that Kristofferson had died at his home the previous day. “We are all so blessed for our time with him,” his family wrote in a statement on Sunday. “Thank you for loving him all these many years, and when you see a rainbow, you know he’s smiling down on us all.”

CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Kyle Young also honored Kristofferson on social media on Sunday. “Kris Kristofferson believed that creativity was given by God and that those who ignore such a gift are doomed to misfortune,” the statement said. “He preached that a spiritual life gives voice to the soul, and his work gave voice not only to his soul but also to our soul. He leaves behind an impressive legacy.”
