Following the Pittsburgh Steelers' 37-15 victory over the New York Jets, head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media about the win and gave a brief update on the injuries that occurred. He noted that several players suffered what Tomlin calls bumps and bruises related to the game, and two others suffered serious injuries.

Tomlin followed cornerback Donte Jackson and defensive tackle Montravius Adams. Tomlin said Jackson had a shoulder injury and could not return, and Adams suffered a knee injury and missed the rest of the game.

Jackson's absence opened the door for James Pierre and the Jets took advantage of the imbalance. For Adams, the Jets made a concerted effort to run the ball without the backup nose tackle in the rotation, but the rest of the defense stepped up to fill the gaps.

Tomlin will provide an update at his usual press conference on Tuesday as the team begins preparations for the game against the New York Giants.
