“Strong, conservative women” defend themselves against “insults” against Cubans

“Strong, conservative women” defend themselves against “insults” against Cubans

Prominent conservative women are pushing back against billionaire Harris campaign representative Mark Cuban, who argued that former President Trump would never surround himself with “strong, intelligent women.”

“@mcubanI was the CEO and owner of a professional sports team, JUST like you,” said former Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., on Thursday in response to Cuban on X. “I am one of the millions of strong, conservative.” Women, who support Trump. They may think we are stupid or that we are trash. We think it's time to replace you and Kamala with leaders who don't hate us.

Loeffler's comments came in response to Cuban's comments on ABC's “The View” Thursday morning.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Never,” Cuban said. “It's that simple. You're intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them.”

The comments were quickly condemned by the Trump campaign, with the campaign's national press secretary Karoline Leavitt calling the comment “offensive.”

“This is extremely offensive to the thousands of women who work for President Trump and the tens of millions of women who vote for him,” Leavitt said. “These women are mothers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders, and they are actually strong and intelligent, contrary to what Mark Cuban and Kamala Harris say.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Leavitt added that “the joy at Kamala headquarters has been replaced by division, hatred and a disturbing level of disrespect for the millions of Americans who support President Trump after four years of destruction under Kamala Harris.”

However, Loeffler and Leavitt weren't the only conservative women to respond to Cuban, and many others took to X to express their frustration with the billionaire's comments.

“I will take this seriously if @mcuban can define what a woman is,” said conservative columnist Carly Bird.

“More of the same condescending rhetoric from Harris allies,” said Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa. “This strong, intelligent woman voted for Donald J. Trump – and I was proud to tour this great country with @TeamTrump!”

“I'm trying to think of a response to wimp @mcuban, but I'm too stupid and weak for it,” quipped conservative columnist Julie Kelly.

“Just when you think the Kamala camp can't possibly alienate and divide people any more than they already have… now they're attacking women who support Trump. Good job, Mark,” added Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

Cuban's comments came just days after President Biden appeared to call Trump supporters “trash” during a Zoom call with Voto Latino on Tuesday.

“The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said in response to comments from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash” during Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

The White House denied that the president was directly referring to the former president's supporters with the remark.

Still, Trump has seized on Biden's comments, telling his supporters in Wisconsin on Wednesday that Democrats have expressed too much “hatred” toward those who disagree with them.

“My answer to Joe and Kamala is simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans,” Trump said. “And you can’t be president if you hate the American people, and there’s a lot of hate.”

The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a Fox News Digital request for comment.
