“A turn to the northwest is expected to take place tomorrow and continue over the next few days,” according to analysts. “On the forecast path, the system is expected to move near Jamaica late Monday and near or over the Cayman Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday.” They also said: “This system is expected to move near Jamaica tonight or tomorrow becomes a tropical depression and that there will be constant strengthening beyond that.”
