Sunday's Orioles Twins lineups, preview and game thread. Game 162!

For most baseball teams, Game 162 has no impact on the entire baseball season in most years. That’s true for the Orioles today, but for good reason. They have secured their spot in the postseason and will host either the Royals or Tigers in the Wild Card round starting Tuesday.

Today is a day when we can give the players some rest when they need it, warm up when they need it and hope no one gets hurt. Unlike yesterday, today's lineup is pretty much the same as it was in the postseason. However, there is no word on how long these starters will stick around.

Albert Suárez starts for the Orioles. It's an interesting choice, but there's no word yet on how long he'll stay in the game. If the Orioles plan to add him to the WC squad to pitch out of the bullpen, this could be a planned short outing. Or maybe they plan to cut him from the roster with the idea that he could start in the ALDS. Of course, they have to get there first.

I expect we'll see one pitcher: Colin Selby, who was just recalled today. He takes the place of Tucker Davidson, who pitched 4.2 shutout innings yesterday and earned the win. He was named DFA today in place of Selby.

Today is your chance to watch some baseball. After today, there won't be a moment for the rest of the season that isn't stressful. So let's enjoy it.
