Takeaways from Fantasy Football Week 6: A revitalized D'Andre Swift, Mark Andrews' “Tell-Tale Heart” and more

It's the month of Halloween, so it's fitting that Sunday was a “Night of the Living Dead” day.

The body of D'Andre Swift was revived into the dreaded walking zombie. He suddenly looks like the zombie Barry Sanders. Make it make sense. I was bashed here in September for liking Swift in August and would have admitted that his death knell had already rung. I just wanted final confirmation (which never came). But honestly, I had no hope.

Speaking of the Bears, probably the most annoying team of the year, Cole Kmet He was famously buried by many in August for losing first-team pre-season snaps. Then Gerald Everett did the same thing to him in the first two weeks of the regular season. But over the last four games, Kmet has posted an overall record of 23-258-3, including two touchdowns. However, Sunday's game was in London, so perhaps more Shaun of the Dead for the Kmet zombie.

Mark Andrews was at least benched in many leagues and reset in some (85% in Yahoo leagues). I said not to do that, even though I didn't think the idea was crazy. My point of view on these TE cuts is that the replacement value is so low that the anger just goes away. Maybe, like Baltimore native Edgar Allen Poe's story, I swore I heard Andrews' “Tell-Tale Heart” beating after we thought he had died.

And Romeo Doubs It looked like a cut when he made the classic mistake of acting like a diva without having earned diva status. But you know what? The Packers seem to have played along, treating Doubs (after a slap on the wrist) like a diva. The result was two touchdowns in Week 6 and a game ball from the coach. Parents today… (smh). Let’s call the Doubs affair a “zombie honeymoon.” (My horror movie game is unrivaled).

And then of course there is this Najee Harrisdead enough to stroll through the Monroeville Mall in green skin. And Jaylen Warren was back. But Harris had perhaps his best game ever, with a TD and 106 yards on 14 carries on this Day of the Dead. (Yes, yes, I'm mixing the metaphors of my Romero sequel).

Nobody wanted Stefon Diggswho fell to the sixth or seventh round at the end of the draft season. He has 27 catches in the last four weeks – he's a WR1 while Nico Collins is out. On Sunday he had over 20 PPR points.

Brian Thomas Jr. was missed for a completely open 45-yard TD and then dropped a perfectly thrown ball in the end zone on a subsequent drive. That's minus two touchdowns per day for his managers.

I find Tank Bigsby was benched for fouling a kickoff. That makes no sense. Bench him on kickoff returns, not at running back. Fumble Jail is stupid in any case. If a starting WR fouls a kickoff, he is never benched. Why is that okay? We need written fumble prison rules.

Jordan love has now thrown at least two touchdowns in eight straight games. He threw four against the Cardinals on Sunday. Christian Watson He looked good with his 44-yard bomb, flying past defenders like he always seems to do when he's healthy. Dontayvion wicks injured his shoulder. It was a nightmare for his waiver recipients.

Josh Jacobs is under 4.0 yards per carry in three of the last four games, but Emanuel Wilson Does it 100% take an injury to Jacobs to produce significant volume? Jacobs managers should relax…you're fine.

The game between the Colts and Titans was just brutal. Will Levis should lose his job because he was so bad against the Colts, who allow a lot of big hits on defense. I can't believe the Titans reportedly fired Mike Vrabel, a real top coach, because he didn't believe in Levis, who has since proven that Vrabel has the foresight.

Tony Pollard scored 2.5 PPR points with minus-5 receiving yards, but ran well.

The Colts don't seem to want to play Anthony Richardson but probably has to. As long as Joe Flacco is the QB, his WRs – like Josh Downs – are live. However, in my opinion, Flacco was not good on Sunday. He missed some easy throws, like a long throw to Alec Pierce.

Drake Maye showed mixed relevance to the league. He fought, mostly in garbage time. I know people thought he would spark chemistry between them Yes'Lynn Polkbut historically you can't bet on a rookie WR with a rookie QB.

Rachaad White Managers had the worst day. The backup to backup had the highest scoring RB day of the week. Sean Tucker finished with 34.2 points. The fuse, Bucky IrvingHe had 18.5 points himself. Irving also had the run of the day.

Chris Godwins The long TD, one of two by him, also deserves some attention.

AJ Brown It was nice to see being at peak performance again.

I know that Kimani Vidal The crew wants the victory lap over the random TD, but he had four touches and JK Dobbins had 27. They will say that was an investment. I say the time for investing is over. August is the time for this. Even after the byes, if you're a playoff team and want to handcuff yourself. If roster spots aren't valuable, invest. If they're valuable, like bye season meat (right now), play this week. We're mostly playing a game from today, not tomorrow.

Vidal is a sixth-round pick, so there's no guarantee he'll get a carry even if Dobbins were to get hurt. And there's no chance he'll win the job unless Dobbins gets hurt. How long will you carry this weight with your team? However, it is your journey.

Like Drake Maye, Bo Nix was SuperFlex gold in Week 6. He's a pretty electric runner, something that few really highlighted during the draft season (though he had plenty of rushing touchdowns in college).

The David Montgomery The extension for quite a bit of RB money tells us we'll never get it Jahmyr Gibbs as a bell cow. And that's okay. Both of these guys are valuable. But they will be so close to scoring. Yet we continue to put Gibbs so high that anyone with even an ounce of sense has to go over and grab Montgomery at his ADP. I bet that won't be corrected next year either.

Dallas' defense was missing six starters, but this was still an unprofessional performance against a team that was clearly trying to embarrass the Cowboys in front of their fans. They did that damn well.
