Taylor Swift's date night outfit fuels “Reputation” rumors

Are you ready for this?

On Saturday evening, 34-year-old Taylor Swift stepped out for date night in New York City with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, wearing a statement-making outfit that had fans talking.

En route to the Torrisi restaurant in SoHo, Swift turned heads in a gold velvet corset top ($794) and matching skirt ($794) from Annie's Ibiza.

She piled on the accessories, including heels from Versace ($950 $427) and lots of sparkling jewelry, including a Jacquie Aiche diamond bracelet ($4,675), a Vivienne Westwood necklace ($270), and a Tilly Sveaas T-bar necklace that she's worn before.

But it was her black handbag that had eagle-eyed Swifties going completely giddy.

The “Cruel Summer” singer carried Roberto Cavalli's Monogram Mirror Snake Crossbody Bag ($1,423). Featuring snakes and the letter “R,” transforming the brand’s regular logo into a snaking version, the clutch could serve as an Easter egg; Some fans believe it could be a subtle reference to the upcoming release of her newly recorded album, Reputation (Taylor's Version).

“The handbag is giving some serious rep vibes,” one person commented on the popular Instagram page TaylorSwiftStyle. Another said: “This is an R and 2 snake. I repeat: THIS IS ONE R AND 2 SNAKES,” while a third declared: “Snake bag, something is brewing.”

The sliding didn't stop there; Her mules were also decorated with Versace's signature gold Medusa motif, with the iconic logo depicting a woman with snakes for hair.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chief's going out look consisted of a bright blue Marni shirt, cargo pants and Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.

In fact, Roberto Cavalli's creative director Fausto Puglisi was behind a slew of the singer's performances for her Eras Tour, which of course included more than a few snakes.

“When Joseph explained to me that she was the queen of snakes, I thought it was a fantastic idea. And at the end of the day, it became so iconic,” Puglisi told Page Six Style in an exclusive interview in June, referring to her snake-encrusted catsuit.

Back to last weekend. The night before, Swift and Kelce were filmed on a double date with close friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in NYC.

For the outing, Swift wore a Polo Ralph Lauren long camel hair coat ($2,498), a Gucci corset ($1,770) and RTA's Mason skirt ($195). Meanwhile, the athlete wore a printed shirt from Jacquemus and khaki pants.

As she prepares to resume her tour later this month, fans are certainly excited for upcoming announcements.
