Ted Cruz's daughter Caroline has gone viral for her shocking reaction to her father's praise of President-elect Donald Trump.

The 16-year-old – who previously revealed she disagrees with her father's political views – couldn't keep a straight face after her father won as a Texas senator.

On Nov. 5, the veteran lawmaker won his third consecutive term after a tough challenge from Democratic Rep. Colin Allred.

After defeating Allred 54 percent to 43 percent, Cruz took the podium in Houston to give a speech in which he said he “hopes and prays that Donald Trump will be reelected.”

His message to Trump, who handily won Texas and reclaimed his White House seat, drew a look of disgust from Caroline as she told viewers: “Don't clap for this.”
