The Texas A&M football team hits the road again to face South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium and maintain its perfect SEC record.

No. 11 Texas A&M (7-1, 5-0 SEC) moved up in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Top 25 after a Week 9 win over No. 9 LSU. They now prepare to face the South Carolina Gamecocks (4-3, 2-3), who despite a pedestrian record have played tough against quality competition this season.

Most memorable meeting: Texas A&M 52, South Carolina 28 in 2014. In the first-ever meeting between the two programs since A&M moved to the SEC, the No. 21 Aggies cruised past a No. 9-ranked Gamecocks team thanks to Kenny Hill, who broke Johnny Manziel's single-game passing record with 511 yards while throwing three touchdowns. Know the Enemy: South Carolina

Players to Watch: Senior edge Kyle Kennard is one of the conference's best pass rushers and currently ranks first in the SEC and third in the country with 8½ sacks. The combination of Kennard and true freshman phenom Edge Dylan Stewarthave totaled 13 sacks and look to pose the toughest challenge the Aggies' offensive line has faced to date.

As good as the Gamecocks defense is, there are playmakers on offense to worry about. Senior running back Raheim Sanders is the leader on the ground with 426 rushing yards and six touchdowns while also being a redshirt freshman quarterback LaNorris Salesman excelled as both a passer and runner, totaling 1,215 yards of offense and using his arms and legs to contribute to eight total touchdowns.

Connections to Central Texas: Senior wide receiver Dalevon Campbell A native of Missouri City, Texas, he is a freshman tight end Reid Mikeska is from Cypress, Texas. In total, four players on South Carolina's roster come from Texas.

When Texas A&M has the ball

All eyes will be on the Aggies' quarterback position entering Week 10. With Marcel Reed's three touchdowns and four scoring drives off the bench Conner Weigman There seems to be some uncertainty in the second half as to who will start against the Gamecocks. South Carolina boasts the 22nd scoring defense in the country, allowing 18.7 points per game, which presents a real challenge for the Aggies regardless of who is under center.

If you're a fan of heavyweight fighting in the trenches, this is another game for you. The Aggies' offense attacks in tandem Trey Zuhn III And Dametrious Crownover will compete against Kennard and Stewart.

The Aggies have given up 11 sacks this season, with Zuhn not giving up a single one in eight games. The Gamecocks are now No. 3 in the country with 28 total sacks.

Texas A&M vs. South Carolina predictions

Tony Catalina: Texas A&M 24, South Carolina 14. This looks to be another tough test for the Aggies, as the Gamecocks are great at stopping the things A&M does well. There's a hostile atmosphere at Williams-Brice Stadium and, for a prime-time game, the crowd will undoubtedly be at the top of their lungs. Texas A&M has to weather the storm, but it has the ability to do so and enters its second bye week still undefeated in the SEC.

Cedric Golden: Texas A&M 24, South Carolina 20. The Aggies took a lead against LSU with the use of backup QB Marcell Reed, but the Gamecocks are easily one of the most dangerous home opponents in the SEC. Just like last week, the Aggie defense managed to get some turnovers in time in the second half to secure the win.
