During his Time on The Bachelorette Season 20 with Charity Lawson and The Bachelor In season 28, where he got engaged to Kelsey Anderson, Joey was known for his unique look of his curly locks and facial hair. During the criticism of Joey's relationship with Kelsey due to their initial financial difficulties, fans could always rely on Joey's signature style.

However, during Dancing with the stars Soul Train Night of Season 33, Joey debuted a makeover that revealed his completely clean-shaven face.
