A college football team ranked in the top 10 was guaranteed a loss heading into Week 10 weekend. But two more resulted in unexpected defeats, causing significant turmoil in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Oregon easily retains first place after taking care of business in struggling Michigan. The Ducks once again received all but one of the 54 first-place votes, while the other top vote went to No. 2 Georgia. Ohio State moves back up to No. 3 after Penn State's first loss, pushing the Nittany Lions four spots to No. 7. Miami (Florida), Texas and Tennessee each move up one spot.

Notre Dame climbs a notch to No. 8. No. 9 Brigham Young and No. 10 Indiana, both among the last undefeated, round out the top 10, each reaching their highest ranking since the 2020 season.
