The former Northwestern star, who went undrafted in this year's NBA draft, is signing a two-way contract with the New York Knicks. ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

Buie played middle school basketball in the Harrisburg CYO league for St. Catherine Laboure along Derry Street in Harrisburg before moving to Albany, New York, and eventually Northwestern.

At Northwestern in 2024, Buie became the program's leading scorer after five years in purple and earned two first-team All-Big Ten honors while leading the Wildcats to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

Buie is also the half-brother of Penn State's all-time leading scorer, Talor Battle, and brother of former Penn State player Taran Buie. Be Sister Alexis also starred in “Cedar Cliff.”and currently plays for Shippensburg.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Buie originally signed a Schedule 10 contract with the Phoenix Suns this offseason that could have landed him on the team's G League roster, but is now joining the Knicks organization a two-way contract. This allows Buie to switch between the G-League and the NBA throughout the year.
