Expectations for the Dusty May era were overblown, and somehow Michigan's new head basketball coach has exceeded them. Sure, the first game was against Cleveland State, but the Wolverines were fast, scored like machines and were annoying on the defensive side of the court.

Considering how the last few years of Michigan basketball have gone, this was a breath of fresh air. The Wolverines shot a 68.4% field goal percentage, had 28 fast break points and finished the game with 8 blocks on defense. Six players finished the game in double figures and ten players scored points.

The media and fans were thrilled with the win and the style of play. Here are some of the best reactions to Michigan's 101-53 win over the Vikings.
