The Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey Devils may not have a long-standing rivalry, but their history is linked to some legendary names.

They may have only met once in the Stanley Cup playoffs, a Devils win, but the Canadiens lead 81-70-10-8, including games against the Kansas City Scouts and Colorado Rockies.

Interestingly, since moving to New Jersey in 1982, Montreal has a losing record against the Devils of 54-68-8-8.
