Timberwolves vs. Bulls Prediction, Odds and Tips

Timberwolves vs. Bulls Prediction, Odds and Tips

Minnesota got off to a slow start to the season; it's just 4-3 SU and was covered in the last game against Charlotte for just the second time this year. Forward Julius Randle is probably making “friends” as he leads the team in assists so far. Fellow forward Naz Reid increased his scoring compared to last year's breakout season, so getting rid of Karl-Anthony Towns seems like a smart decision – especially given his salary.

The Bulls have lost their last two games and have fallen below .500 this season. This isn't a great team, so losses are to be expected – but less so against Brooklyn and Utah, who they were favored against. Chicago boasts a trio of 20 goal scorers, and winger Josh Giddey looked pretty good leading the attack. Rookie forward Matas Buzelis may be more of a project than expected, but this is purely a developmental season anyway.

Minnesota is the favorite, but is only 2-5 ATS so far. The Timberwolves were the favorites in every game except the opener. Despite having center Rudy Gobert as an anchor under center, they were not an elite defensive team and their offense was only slightly better than average. I think the Bulls – with more than enough viable offensive options – can stay close enough at home.
