Troye Sivan just debuted Nensi Dojaka's first menswear design

The Sweat Tour makes history with many firsts: it's the first concert that the entire current NYLON team attended at the same time, it's Charli XCX's first arena tour and it's also a breeding ground for current high fashion news. Both Charli and Troye Sivan stay in character every night, with up to five costume changes for both stars throughout the evening. On October 20, Sivan marked another milestone in San Francisco by wearing British designer Nensi Dojaka's first-ever menswear look.

Nensi Dojaka has had a good year. The 2021 LVMH Prize grand winner made a name for herself by designing sexy, body-hugging dresses with built-in bras that It girls were quick to discover. She debuted her collaboration with Calvin Klein during last London Fashion Week, marking her first foray into mass-market fashion. The creation was widely celebrated (and worn) by the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lisa. It makes sense that Troye was the first man to wear her designs: He wore her lingerie-inspired long-sleeved mesh top and pants for his evening performance of “One Of Your Girls,” where he threw himself into his striptease routine overthrows dreams.

The “Rush” singer has caught our attention since he completed a series of solo tours to promote his latest project earlier this year. Something to give to each otherwhere he wore bespoke McQueen styles from Seán McGirr, Helmut Lang, Prada and Jean Paul Gaultier. For Sweat, he's worn custom pieces from Collina Strada, Thom Browne, Y/Project, JW Anderson, David Koma, 032c…basically, he's worn them when the brand is cute, young and high fashion. There are only two more stops on the Sweat Tour before it's all said and done, and while I still have to relive the best night Madison Square Garden has seen in 2024, let's hope Dojaka is there at her Debut in men's fashion doing well and offering some pieces for the twink concert goers of the world.
