Trump AG hopeful says he wants to 'drag and burn Democrats' political corpses'

A Republican lawyer believed to be in the running to become Donald Trump's attorney general has said in a graphic social media post that he wants to drag and “burn” Democrats' “dead political corpses” through the streets.

Mike Davis, a former court clerk and Senate aide, shared the violent post on November 6th

“Here’s my current mood: I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them and throw them off the wall,” Davis said.

“(Of course, legally, politically and financially),” he added.

“Fuck unity… We have the votes. And they tried to kill Trump,” he said in another expletive-laden post, referring to Democrats.

According to the report, Trump privately announced Davis' name for attorney general Washington Postand publicly praised Davis in October when he touted him for a top job in his second term.

“The founder or president of the Article III Project, that guy is tough as hell,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Aurora, Colorado. “We want it in a very high capacity.”

GOP fundraiser Caroline Wren recounted Politically in a profile post about Davis that Trump is a fan of the Republican lawyer and that other Republican donors and senators are “mouth-watering” over his regular appearances at Steve Bannon's. War room Podcast.

“If he is not the attorney general, he will play some role,” she told the medium.

Donald Trump Jr. told Politically In a statement at the time, he said that Davis was “exactly the type of fighter” he would have wanted for his father's second administration.

In the same profile, author Adam Wren wrote that he saw Don Jr. tell Davis at the Republican National Convention, “I want you to be my father's attorney general all four years.”

According to Wren, Davis said he would give Trump three weeks “as his viceroy.”

An aide later allegedly told Wren that Don Jr. “wasn’t serious” about the job offer.

Davis is one of Trump's biggest defenders on social media and said he would help the president-elect “appoint even bolder and more fearless judges” in his second term. He also praised Trump for “transforming” the Supreme Court.

Before his inflammatory post

In a conversation with right-wing commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson last year, he explained what he would do if he were theoretically appointed acting attorney general for three weeks.

“During my three-week reign of terror as Trump’s acting attorney general, before I am run out of town with my Trump pardon, I will bring Washington DC to hell,” he said.

“We will put children in cages. It will be wonderful.”
