Tucker Carlson heats up crowd at Trump rally with bizarre spanking rant | Tucker Carlson

The crowd erupted in bizarre chants of “Daddy’s home!” at a Donald Trump rally in Georgia on Wednesday. and “Papa Don!” after an extraordinary and borderline creepy and sexist speech by far-right personality Tucker Carlson, in which he compared the Republican presidential candidate to an angry father beating up his daughter.

“Dad is coming home. He's angry. Dad is angry. And when daddy comes home, do you know what he says? “You were a bad girl.” “You were a bad little girl and now you're getting a bad beating,” the former Fox TV host told the crowd in Duluth.

“‘I’m not going to lie. It'll hurt you a lot more than it hurt me. And you deserve that. You get a severe beating because you were a bad girl. You will only get better if you take responsibility for what you have done. It has to be like this.'”

The Washington Post reported that Carlson's comments, made during his warm-up for Trump's appearance, were aimed at portraying the ex-president as a person coming “home” to the White House to impose discipline on Vice President Kamala Harris, as “Punishment” for their time in office.

But others simply found the tirade “disturbing” given that Trump was a convicted rapist and sex offender and the Guardian published new allegations that he abused a former model introduced to him by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the early 1990s .

Carlson, who was fired from Fox in April 2023 for “getting too big for his boots” at the network, has a controversial past of his own, including spreading Nazi falsehoods and conducting a long, rambling interview with Vladimir Putin Moscow in February 2023 Both were extremely critical of the USA.

Despite his reduced profile since his dismissal as one of Fox's most prominent and highest-paid stars, Carlson is still a very influential figure in Trump's Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, as evidenced by the crowd's reaction to his “spanking” comments in Duluth shows.

CNN reported the atmosphere at the event was similar to the Republican National Convention in July, where Trump accepted the party's presidential nomination.

“When Trump came on stage, they started screaming and shouting, 'Dad's home!' and “Papa Don!” I’ve never heard that at a Trump rally before. The atmosphere in the room is like a mini-RNC,” reporter Alayna Treene, who covered the event, said in a clip published for X.

Trump's own comments in Duluth at a rally for the far-right youth group Turning Point USA included a well-known and lengthy diatribe filled with insults against Kamala Harris, his Democratic opponent in the Nov. 5 election.

“She’s not a smart person. “She’s a low-IQ person,” Trump said before beginning a meandering speech that included the strange claim that he “stopped a war with France” during his time as president.
