UBS Arena’s outdoor experience “The Park” runs now through February

Pond hockey is back in the outdoor area of ​​the UBS Arena at Belmont Park.

The Northwell Pond outdoor rink will reopen for the Islanders' preseason game against the Rangers on Friday, October 4 and will remain open through February. The rink is part of The Park, an outdoor experience the Islanders introduced last season that includes ice skating, family-friendly games, an on-site beer garden and more.

The natural ice rink hosts ice hockey tournaments and offers 90-minute public skating lessons for $20 per person. Skate rentals and lockers for storage are available.

  • Slap shot booth: With the slap shot cabin you can improve your accuracy and
  • Have some friendly competitions with your friends.
  • The Double Overtime Obstacle Challenge: This 45-foot obstacle course is for
  • anyone who is up to the challenge.
  • Center Ice Bounce: The traditional moon hop is fun for children of all ages.
  • Northwell Mini Golf: Play nine holes with your family and friends

  • Dunk Tank: Children should prepare to make a pure foam splash.

  • Isles Lab Swag Shack: The Islanders will open an “Isles Lab” pop-up store where guests can kit out or bundle up in Islanders apparel before the game.
  • Food truck: Rotating food trucks offer guests a varied culinary experience at fan-friendly prices.

In addition to Islanders games, The Park will also be open for other events at UBS Arena, such as concerts.
