UNLV Rebels vs. Utah State Aggies Prediction, Odds and Tips

The UNLV Rebels headed to the northeast corner of the Beehive State on Friday night to take on the Aggies of Utah State in Logan. UNLV is looking to bounce back from last weekend's tough 44-41 overtime loss to Syracuse and push the team out of the undefeated rankings. Not only did the Rebels suffer their first loss, but they also had their first non-cover of the season. The defense was a bit suspect for the first time, allowing the Orange to put up 44 points as well as 137 yards on the ground and 355 yards through the air. UNLV quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams threw for three more points while also running for another as he seamlessly picked up the slack for abruptly eliminated QB Matthew Sluka. The offense isn't a problem, scoring 23 or more points in every game and scoring 41 or more points in three of the last four games.

For Utah State, it's a 62-30 loss at Boise State because like most, the Aggies had no answer for RB Ashton Jeanty. The Aggies didn't have an answer for most, though, allowing 38 or more points in all four games against FBS opponents and 53.5 PPG in the final two games at Boise State and, yes, Temple. The Rebels should be able to pile up the points in Logan by putting in most of the effort to get this game close to the over. Utah State doesn't have to contribute much to get this over the finish line.
