Apparently, being the son of the team's star player doesn't stop Bronny James from getting pranked.

In fact, it doesn't even get him out of a prank from his own father. At least not in an ad.

LeBron James pranked his son and teammate by filling his car with cereal before the Los Angeles Lakers' season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. “Hey Rook, you better not be late,” he said before driving off.

The younger James also chimed in, telling the 39-year-old: “You're too old for this.”

It was a lighthearted moment for the two teammates before a historic moment in Tuesday's game.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported on it Sports center that the Lakers are “very likely” to play father and son together “early” in the game. That means fans won't have to wait long to see the first father-son duo in NBA history playing on the court at the same time.

Two of these fans know what it's like to play under such a spotlight.

Baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr. announced that he and his father Ken Sr. will be in attendance. The Griffeys played together on the Seattle Mariners and even hit back-to-back home runs in 1990.

As for LeBron and Bronny, they briefly played together during the Lakers' preseason loss to the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 6, but doing so in the regular season will certainly be more meaningful.
