FORECAST

Good morning! Finally we have achieved a more autumnal pattern. While it will be warm and humid today, there is a cooling coming this evening. Light drizzle and a few scattered showers are expected this morning. Then the sky clears a bit around midday and into the afternoon. This means temperatures can reach almost 90°C. A cold front will move through South Texas tonight. Storms will develop ahead of and along the front, peaking around midnight. During this time, some storms can be strong to severe, but widespread storms are not expected. Hail and gusty winds would be the main threats.

Persistent showers will continue into early Tuesday morning, while winds will become briefly gusty from the northwest. Around midday the sky clears and it becomes a sunny, beautiful day. High temperatures on Election Day are only expected to reach the mid-70s!

By Wednesday morning, temperatures around San Antonio will drop to the low 50s. The Hill Country is forecast to see widespread lows in the 40s. Wednesday brings nicer weather. However, there will be changes on Thursday morning: more rain is forecast and another cold front by Friday.
