Warriors vs. Blazers injury report: Steph Curry is ready to go

The 2024-25 NBA season is finally here. After an exciting, fun and historic doubleheader on Tuesday, the rest of the league is in action today. That includes your Golden State Warriors, who begin the season with a short road trip north to face the Portland Trail Blazers.

It will be a fun game, if only because the Warriors are finally back in action. We get to see Steph Curry! And all the other players we've been eagerly waiting for are waiting to put on the blue and gold and take the court as the quest for a better season than the last two officially begins.

As the year progresses, the Warriors – like all 30 NBA teams – will suffer a number of injury-related setbacks. Fortunately, these setbacks will have to wait for another day.

Here is the full injury report, last updated in the league's 1:30 p.m. update.

No one! That's right, it's a completely clean injury record to start the season for Golden State. Curry's finger, which he sprained and caused him to miss some preseason time? Don't worry about it. Brandin Podziemski's broken nose? He will dress up and play. Andrew Wiggins' illness? In the rearview mirror.

Full force, baby.

Out of — Matisse Thybulle (inflammation of the right knee)

I'll be honest – and hopefully I won't jinx the Dubs: There aren't many reasons to watch this team from Portland, which is considered an ode to uninteresting basketball. But Thybulle, one of the league's biggest pickpockets, is certainly one of the few reasons to tune in. Unfortunately, he's expected to be out for a few weeks, at which point the Blazers could already be eliminated from the postseason.

Out of — Robert Williams III (left hamstring strain)

It's fun to watch Williams like Thybulle. Unfortunately, he had so much trouble staying on the pitch. He played just six games in his first season with the Blazers last year and appeared in just 215 contests – the equivalent of just over two and a half seasons – as he opened his seventh NBA season. Luckily, this injury is not expected to keep him out for a long period of time.

Out of – Shaedon Sharpe (left shoulder labrum tear)

Sharpe had something of a breakout season last year in his sophomore year. He's hoping to build on that this year, but isn't expected to release until mid-November at the earliest.

Enjoy the action, Dub Nation!
