Watch Dick Van Dyke Return to 'The Masked Singer' (Exclusive)

There is a gnome like Dick Van Dyke.

The legendary actor, 98, taking on the role for the first time Masked singer Take the stage by storm in Season 9 as the Gnome returns to the crazy singing competition this week and Weekly entertainment has the exclusive first look below.

As previously announced, Van Dyke is one of the season's 15 Masked Ambassadors – all former members of the show – chosen to support one of the new contestants, serving as an important clue to the new celebrities' identities. In the clip below, it is revealed that it is the “national treasure,” as host Nick Cannon aptly calls it Mary Poppins Star, is supposed to act as an ambassador for Dust Bunny.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen, it’s me, Dick Van Dyke. You may remember me as the gnome from Season 9. Now I'm 98 years old, so I know a little about collecting dust,” he jokes before introducing the new mask.

In addition to Van Dyke, the package contains other clues to Dust Bunny's identity, including an earthquake zone sign, coffee making in an office, a race car flag, and a bloody white mask. We also learn that he has collaborated with Anne Hathaway, David Bowie and Marlon Brando – but no one has seen the footage of the latter collaboration.

“You forgot the most important thing – me!” Van Dyke says to finish the package before wishing the masked singer good luck.

In addition to Van Dyke, Jewel (Season 6 winner, Queen of Hearts), Ne-Yo (Season 10 winner, Cow) and DeMarcus Ware (Season 11 Koala) are among the Masked Ambassadors Fox announced ahead of the broadcast new season revealed. Nick Lachey (aka Season 5 winner Piglet), Jenifer Lewis (aka Season 11's Miss Cleocatra), and Joel McHale (sung once, so to speak; frequent guest panelist) have also appeared in this capacity so far this season.

Van Dyke and four other masked ambassadors will be revealed on Wednesday's episode of Sports Night The Masked Singerwhich serves as Group B's premiere. Panelists Robin Thicke and Rita Ora will open the show with a heartbreaking performance of the Scorpions' “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” introduced by guest commentators and veterans of The Masked SingerMcHale and Nikki Glaser!

Among them Dust Bunny, the five brand new participants will make their big debut with songs like “Rock Your Body”, “Believe”, “We Belong”, “Sweet Caroline” and “Lose Control” in the brand new “Group B Premiere: Sports”. Night” episode tonight.

“The Masked Singer” airs Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on Fox.
