We only “crossed the line” once in the Yankees fan interference drama.

Yankees fan Austin Capobianco spoke about his infamous night in an interview with Barstool Sports on Wednesday night, saying it was a moment from years ago.

Capobianco was ejected from Game 5 of the World Series after he cartoonishly tried to interfere with Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts on a pop out in foul territory on Tuesday night.

Capobianco said his friend, who grew up in Connecticut and now lives in Nashville, came and joined him at the game and that they always agreed to disrupt an opponent if the opportunity arose at an important moment would result.

Capobianco said he had season tickets for the front row seats on the right field line and had attended every home playoff game since 2011.

“We talked about it. “When we're on the field, when we're on the field, we stop our fans from being stupid and causing disruptions that cost the Yankees an out,” Capobianco said on “Barstool Rundown.”

“In this situation, ideally we would have hit the ball while it was in the air – we don't reach into the pitch. We would have done it if it mattered but the ball was in the balance. It was basically in my mouth and I was like, 'There's nothing else I can do right now.'”

He explained his logic in trying to rip the ball out of Betts' glove.

“It was pretty safe. As soon as you put your hand on the glove, you will definitely be booted. So I might as well just rip the thing out,” Capobianco said.

“The best part was when (my friend) just grabbed the arm. The video was fucking hilarious.”

Eventually, Capobianco admitted that his friend had “crossed the line” by grabbing Betts' arm.

Capobianco emphasized that “no racist crap” was said to Betts during the incident.

The Bombers fan said he was familiar with Yankees security because “pawns” who sat behind him often complained about him standing in front of them and cheering during games.

Capobianco went to Billy's near Yankee Stadium after the ejection and said he spent the rest of the night “drinking.”

The Yankees announced Wednesday that Capobianco's tickets were redistributed to a pediatric cancer patient and his family.
